In the city of Hamar in Norway, a part of the city’s port has been redeveloped, creating a new space for activities, dining and sport for the community.
The project is part of a broader initiative that will turn this space into the new city centre.
The approach to rediscovery was holistic, so as not to distort the past but to embrace it with unique solutions that would provide the community with a new meeting space. We are very pleased to have contributed to a project that combines the tradition of Scandinavian architecture with the modernity of cutting-edge technological solutions, and which has breathed new life into an area that was at risk of being forgotten.

To adequately and safely illuminate the Mjøsfronten, the old city harbour, lights that could withstand humidity and bad weather were needed, while also being aesthetically pleasing. There could be no better choice than the EIVA Outdoor IP65 system, with its water and weather resistance rating, able to withstand even storms with ease.

At the same time, the versatility of EIVA solutions made it possible to integrate a non-intrusive, elegant lighting system into the space, enhancing the chosen solutions.
