Every detail of the 25hours in Piazza San Paolino has been carefully chosen, creating a unique experience inspired by Dante Alighieri’s immortal work. Our Creative-Tubes are part of this too.
The decorative flair of Paola Navone and the Otto Studio team was the foundation of the project that transformed the imposing “Monte de’ Pegni” – the historic Pawnbroker of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze – into a sequence of spectacular and pop-style sets inspired by the Divine Comedy.
What makes the 25hours hotels chain unique, according to its founder Christoph Hoffman, is the decision to choose a different and strongly characterised theme for every new hotel.
And naturally, the decision to open a hotel in Florence made it almost inevitable to represent the Dantean dichotomy between Paradise and Inferno.
The project covered over 170 rooms and the communal areas of the complex, totalling 10,750 square metres. Creative-Cables featured in two of the hotel's communal spaces, both colourful and Inferno-themed.

Dozens of metres of Creative-Tubes, in RM09 bright red, adorn the stairwell, twisted and intertwined to form a luminous sculpture. The Creative-Cables system, which combines the aesthetics of a fabric covering with the practicality of a true external wall installation, is reinvented in this display, where the bold colours and intricate tangles take centre stage.
Waiting for the lift…
A textbook use of Creative-Tubes was made in the lift waiting area, where a real surface-mounted installation worth admiring was created. Far from the usual plastic conduits and the rigidity of metal pipes, the electrical system is on display and the red of the Creative-Tubes creates a sharp contrast with the industrial-style ceiling, the metal connectors and the porcelain-effect light bulbs. Ceiling roses, junction boxes, pipe clips, for an installation that combines great charm with extreme practicality.
