Completed between 2022 and 2023, the Villa Andy project transformed a residence in the beautiful Franciacorta region, in the province of Brescia, also thanks to the lights by Creative Cables.
Coordinated by designer Luca Cassol (Instagram, Facebook), the project – complete demolition and reconstruction – is based on a vision of warmth, simplicity and elegance. The clients, a couple in their forties, wanted a welcoming yet sophisticated space that celebrated natural materials such as wood and stone, enriched with unique details for a rustic chic aesthetic. The interiors, generous in size, include an 85 sqm living and dining area and a 35 sqm kitchen. The choice of flooring enhances every room: planed oak for the living areas and stone-effect tiles for the kitchen. Bespoke furniture and panelling in first-patina antique oak have been treated with an eco-friendly mix of vegetable oils and waxes, while split local stone gives the walls depth and character.

Light that defines spaces: the living room
A large chandelier dominates the double-height space above the sofa, made up of 11 pendants with warm, diffuse light bulbs, enclosed in dome-shaped lampshades in sand-coloured wire. Twisted natural jute cables complete the composition, blending perfectly with the room’s tones and textures.

Above the dining table
To highlight the majestic cedar table (320x130 cm, made from a single slab), three pendant lights with black metal Harbor lampshades have been installed. These precisely illuminate the tabletop and cast a warm light upwards, enhancing the height of the ceiling.
