A point of reference for light design enthusiasts and experts in Treviso and the Veneto in general, the Creative Cables Store at viale Monte Grappa 58 is a place to find lamps and design systems, but also a place to fall in love with the world of lighting, expertly guided by Enrico Corradini. Owner of the store, but also an all-round author and artist, here’s what he told us about his relationship with our brand.
What caught your attention in the world of lighting, and what makes it special for you?
I’ve always loved lamps, also because of tradition. I come from Venice, whose waters lap the island of Murano, and I grew up breathing in the art applied to technical and functional materials. If you really learn how to use the tools and features well, lighting design allows us to achieve almost boundless and very exciting results.
When did you discover Creative Cables and why did you choose us?
I’d heard about it during the 2019 Milan Euroluce Fair. I realised it was a further evolution in the world of design and lighting, so I wanted to learn more.
How would you describe our products to someone unfamiliar with them?
With Creative Cables products, a variety of space and lighting issues can be solved, offering multiple solutions for the needs of customers and designers, but above all for their creativity.

What are the most innovative products from Creative Cables?
Certainly the fabric-covered electric cable, which has represented something of a revolution in the lighting world. I really like the Taché, a very cheerful and colourful product. But more than individual items, I would focus on the versatility and wide range of combinations that the Creative Cables catalogue offers customers. You really can let your imagination run wild and, which is no small thing in such gloomy times, have fun building an object that, fundamentally, needs to be useful first and beautiful second.
What is the product your customers can no longer do without?
Lamps, like any other object, are influenced by the pulse of fashion. Cars, clothes and shoes, to name three cornerstones of fashion that define the style of an era, change according to the times and human trends. There were years when large light bulbs were all the rage, today there is a return to the lampshade. Tomorrow? I don’t know, and I can’t wait to be surprised.

In what situations have our products made a difference to your customers’ experience?
When I was faced with a mismatch between the spaces and the needs, with Creative Cables products we managed to solve the problem by turning the flaw into a strength to enhance creativity with spectacular solutions.
It’s worth noting that I often repeat the word “solution”. Because light is exactly that: it’s the dilution of the problem of darkness, the very opposite of gloom.
