Damart, a historic clothing brand founded in Northern France in the 1950s, has recently opened its new flagship store in Lille.
At the centre of this impressive shop, housed within a historic building in the city centre, stands "Le Grande Geste" – an installation created with 1,000 metres of our Red silk-effect RM09 cable, which runs from the reels on the ground floor, like a giant spinning machine, all the way up to the roof!
We are particularly fond of this piece, because once again it shows how our cables, when used creatively, can become much more than simple electrical tools – they are true means of creating artistic installations.
