With Creative Cables, Antonella and Maurizio bring bespoke lighting to Tenerife, combining innovation and customised design to create unique lamps.
Their adventure in the lighting world began in the electronics sector. As LED technology advanced, both saw an opportunity that drove them to a radical transformation, specialising in the design and creation of residential and industrial systems, and later expanding their offering to lighting for Home Design.
It was during this journey that they encountered Creative Cables: “We were immediately struck by the potential of the combination of originality, simplicity and creativity, and so began our collaboration, when our business was still based in the province of Turin.”
In 2019, eager to embark on a new adventure, they decided to move to Tenerife, continuing their work and choosing Creative Cables as their sole partner. “The vast range of components, colours and the many possible combinations, both indoors and outdoors, make us consider Creative Cables the ideal partner to propose throughout the Canary Islands.”
Their store in Tenerife is described as “The tailor’s shop where you can create your own lamp”. Just as tailors make bespoke clothes, Antonella and Maurizio create lamps to suit their clients’ environments and needs, playing with a wide range of colours and types of components.
Among their most innovative products for their clientele are the Outdoor IP65 products, the portable and rechargeable Cabless lamps, Ghost light bulbs and Filé string lights. However, the must-have product for their customers is undoubtedly the iconic textile cable, thanks to the wide range of colours offering numerous creative solutions, “including the creation of accessories (necklaces, bag decorations, etc.)”.
Among the projects they recall with the greatest pride, made possible thanks to Creative Cables components, are the lighting of a stairwell with cascades of light bulbs at different levels and the illumination of many outdoor pergolas. In addition, the ability to light an entire flat using only wall sockets has demonstrated the innovation of these products.
