The conference room at the headquarters of the French company Ravaliso, just outside Paris, is being completely redesigned.
No longer just for meetings, but also for training courses, lunch breaks, aperitifs and client meetings. Ravaliso therefore needed a multi-purpose space, able to adapt to the daily rhythms and requirements of work.
The project was designed by studio newvélizy, which has redesigned the 74 m² living room by dividing it into three areas, with no barriers separating one from another. The result is a dynamic space, where the function of the area changes thanks to one key element: light.
The freedom to create bespoke atmospheres
In this redesign, light is not just decoration, but becomes architecture. Stéphane Toni, who oversaw the project, explains: “the innovative Creative Cables solutions are an invaluable resource for anyone, like me, involved in decoration. The wide range of products, from the smallest cable clamps to the most sophisticated designer light bulbs, offers endless possibilities for combinations. This allows not only for every project to be adapted to the specific space, but also to create truly unique lighting compositions."

Each light, a different setting
By day, a workspace; by evening, a place to share a drink, welcome a client and exchange ideas. The transition requires no folding furniture or movable walls: just modulate the lighting.
This is where the Creative Cables solution comes in, designed to create visually distinct environments:
- The wall lights with Ghost light bulb smoky glass trace the perimeter and welcome guests as soon as they enter. The smoked glass, combined with the warm light, creates a sophisticated, soft, retro atmosphere. These are lamps that decorate even when switched off.
- The wall lights with S14d linear LED light bulb define the lounge area. A more technical, yet no less striking, light that structures the space without closing it off.
- The Tub-E14 pendant installed above the bar counter becomes the visual focal point of the room. The five two-tone cylinders create a luminous backdrop that enhances the counter and encourages conversation.
When lighting solves problems
During the installation of the wall lights, the only issue concerned the existing electrical system: the holes in the wall were too large to ensure a precise fit. The solution? Instead of using a standard ceiling rose, a bespoke circular plate in matt black MDF was created to enhance the symmetry of the Ghost wall light without altering its shape. A tailor-made detail, consistent with the Creative Cables design philosophy.
